Dusty Dubs is a Chauffeur driven VW campervan hire service which is based in the South East London and Kent area.

We specialize in hire for Weddings/Special Occasions and pride ourselves on giving a tailor made service for each individual booking.

Whether it's transportation for the bride and groom, bridesmaids or for filming, we take pride in each occasion and promise to give your day that special touch.

We are delighted to ensure you arrive at your destination in style.

Dusty is a VW Bay Window Microbus/Campervan
(6 seater including driver).

Dusty was born in February 1977 in Hanover Germany and was exported to the sunny state of California to live the beach life.

In the Spring of 2011 she made the long journey over to England and found herself in the hands of Paul and Jessica in Kent.
After a full restoration Dusty's character resembles a vintage, retro style and has been finished to a very high standard with lots of attention to detail.

Marine blue and pastel white in colour, natural hessian and tweed interior, beach striped cushions and curtains, finished with bunting and quirky accessories to give the perfect feel to a home on the road.

Can Dusty be hired without a chauffeur?

No, unfortunately Dusty is part of the family and has been restored for a chauffeur driven service only.

None of the packages suit our day, can we tailor make one?

Yes, we are happy to tailor make packages to suit your needs.

We have an extensive options list for you to choose from, or come to us with your requests and we will be happy to bespoke the perfect package for you.

Can Dusty be hired any day of the week?

Yes, Dusty is available 7 days a week, although she does get booked up quickly at peak times.

So as soon as you have a date in mind let us know so we can check her diary.

How do you take payments? and do you take a deposit?

We accept cash, cheque or bank transfer payments only.

All bookings require a £100 deposit and the remaining balance to be paid one month prior to your confirmed booking date.

Terms & Conditions

The Client is responsible for the conduct of all his or her party and fully agrees to all ‘Dusty Dubs Terms & Conditions'.


Vehicle
 Our vehicle is non-smoking and food/drink may only be consumed with prior authorisation with Dusty Dubs.
 A £100 cleaning charge will be issued, should the vehicle be misused through food, drink or illness.

Mileage
 Due to the age of the vehicle, we are restricted to a limited mileage.
 We quote our prices based on the fact that the total mileage covered from the base of our vehicle to the final destination is up to 20 miles.
(We do not count the journey back to our base.)
 Thereafter an additional mileage fee of £2.50 per mile will be charged.
 Mileage will be calculated using RAC route planner from postcode to postcode.

Bookings/Payments
 Bookings are accepted only on the understanding that the Client understands and accepts the above Dusty Dub Terms & Conditions and the payment of the deposit signifies such acceptance.
 All pre booked reservations require a non-refundable £100 deposit to secure the booking date. Reservations will not be confirmed until a deposit has been received.
 All bookings made within 30 days of the date required must be paid in full at time of booking.
 The full payment of all bookings must be made no later than 30 days before the booked date. No refund will be made if a cancellation is made after this time.
 Any alterations made to the original booking by the Client will be charged accordingly where necessary, and this is payable a minimum of 30 days prior to the booked date.

Client
 “The Client” – is the individual who has placed the booking.
 The Client shall be fully responsible and liable for any damage caused both inside and outside the vehicle by himself/herself or any member of his/her party. If this causes our vehicle to be out of use for repairs the Client will be liable to pay a daily rate of £150 whilst it is off the road plus the cost of any repairs and/or cleaning.
 Dusty Dubs take no responsibility for any personal possessions left in our vehicles.
 To maintain our stringent safety standards, we maintain the right not to permit entry to our vehicle by anyone deemed unfit, for whatsoever reason.
 Likewise, we can terminate the journey if any passenger's behaviour is deemed to be in a manner which may be detrimental to other passengers of our vehicle and their contents. In this event, no refund of monies paid will be given.

Charges
 Dusty Dubs reserve the right to alter charges without notice unless a booking has been quoted and a deposit paid.





Breakdowns and Damage
 In the event of your pre-booked vehicle being unavailable due to circumstances beyond our control, prior to your booked date, we will endeavour to supply an alternative for you. If you feel the replacement is not appropriate or suitable we will be happy to refund all payments in full.
 Dusty Dubs makes every effort to maintain this vintage vehicle in first class condition. However no responsibility can be accepted for mechanical, electrical or material breakdown. If this should occur every effort will be made to repair the vehicle so your journey can be completed, however if this is not possible you will be transferred to another vehicle, for the remainder of your journey.
 In the rare and unfortunate event of vehicle problems, howsoever caused, no responsibility will be accepted by Dusty Dubs for any missed connections and/or functions.
 Dusty Dubs reserves the right to change, replace or renew any advertised/booked vehicle(s) at any time to enable us to maintain our high standards.

Cancellations
 In the event of the Client cancelling more than 30 days before the hire period any deposit paid would be forfeited, only in exceptional circumstances and at the discretion of Dusty Dubs will part or all of the deposit be refunded.
 Dusty Dubs will accept no responsibility for cancellation due to any external factors that are beyond our control, i.e.; adverse weather conditions, acts of terror etc. Despite this we will endeavour to provide our services to best of our capability.

Day of Hire
 Our vehicle Dusty is for transport across tarmac surfaces only. Please notify Dusty Dubs in advance of any non tarmac travel required (e.g. weddings in a field / forest etc).
 Where the ground may not be suitable for travel in the vehicle, the chauffer may stop the journey short or look for an alternative route.
 Hire time will commence at the time of the first pick-up. Car hiring time is 4hrs from this time.
 Time over this period must be agreed with Dusty Dubs prior to the booked date.
 If your booked time runs over this, extra fee must be paid for on the day of hire in cash at a rate of £15 per hour (only full hours).
 Our vehicle only attends one wedding on the date of hire.

Children/Pets
 Our vehicle does not permit children under 3 years old to travel and all passengers, especially children, travel at their own risk. If a booster seat is required it must be fitted by a parent or guardian. Seat belts are available so please use them.
 Dusty Dubs is unable to transport any pets or animals in the vehicle unless consent is given on booking.

Photography
 Dusty Dubs may be taking photos of our vehicle whilst on hire. We will normally use these on our website and promotional material, if you do not wish your photos to be used please let us know.
